Oscar Pakasi has been working for the marketing department in the Printing Systems Division of Corporate Express since 1998. In 2008, he was promoted to Business Development Director. His main attention is on analysis and project work in support of the existing business, and he functions as an internal consultant for operating companies in five countries.

After his Economics and Marketing studies, he wanted to get his MBA within Corporate Express, at Nyenrode International Business School. “If you want to follow an additional training course you have to take the initiative yourself. I raised the matter in 2005; within a month, it was arranged. The studies at Nyenrode University also took me to Cape Town and Chicago. Corporate Express offered me space for this as well. This means that you get plenty of room to develop yourself here, but you have to take the initiative yourself. The interpretation of the job also depends on your own initiative. Entrepreneurship comes out well here.”
